BTG, in partnership with a top ranked healthcare company in Florida, has an immediate need for a Product Owner Professional.

The Product Owner (PO) applies business goals, objectives and industry knowledge to make crucial prioritization and scoping decisions on product features and initiatives. Our mission is to solve needs in healthcare and engage consumers with the goal of helping them achieve better health and live better lives. To accomplish that we have solutions that interact with consumers in multiple channels. This role is responsible to manage a product backlog to ensure the value of the work his/her team performs. The PO drives the culture of relentlessly questioning the value of any product change to separate "wants" from "needs" and continuously refines his/her team' product backlog to ensure the highest quality product is delivered and aligns with the vision of the OLH organization.

Requirements of the Position:
5+ years related work experience.

Diagraming experience including contextual, conceptual, state, activity, workflow and others.
Strong Agile/SCRUM background.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Visio, and MS Project.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in a technical and non-technical forum, as well as listening and interpersonal skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
Ability to communication ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Competent knowledge of information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards.
Highly collaborative and able to interpret and translate technical and/or complex concepts into information meaningful to project team members and/or business personnel.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Demonstrated negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
High degree of analytical ability to analyze project objectives, develop technical requirements, analyze severity of problems and the need to escalate to management or employ external services

Business Objectives:
Works closely with senior product owner and product managers to align on product vision
Conveys vision to the entire scrum team
Works closely with PO team and Sr. PO team on product health specific to respective product domain
Leads through influence and without excessive authority, product development with our engineers, designers and business analysts.

Essential Functions:
The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
Scrum team Support:
Create user stories and works with key stakeholders to define acceptance criteria
Maintains acceptance criteria and proper sizing of all user stories
Continuous prioritization and grooming of product backlog
Continuous collaboration with development to ensure user stories are properly sized
Continuous collaboration with scrum, product and agile operations teams to ensure feature delivery on schedule.
Works across scrum teams to align architecture work, technical design, and any changes to the product architecture and design are defined and called out in features.

Product Management Support:
Collaborate with Agile operations team to define opportunities for process improvement, specifically in relation to the PO role within the agile/scrum framework
Collaborate with Sr. PO and solutions architecture teams on feasibility and analysis related to product discovery exercises
Conduct research into system issues and products as required
Contributing to ideation and discovery exercises with members of the product development team
Create and maintain documentation related to product specific domains
Educate business stakeholders on updates related to product specific domains
Participate in or lead product trainings for internal stakeholders
Inform roadmap recommendations, working closely with Sr. PO's and product management team members

Development Team Planning:
Collaborate solutions architecture, development leads on design and architecture approach
Participate in requirements discovery with product management and solutions architecture teams
Coordinate, document, triage and communicate pre and post software release information
Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced with mobile solutions development for both iOS and Android preferred
Experience working with off-shore development preferred.
Experience leading requirements development efforts preferred.
Experience in health & wellness industries preferred.
Looking for someone with true PO experience that can hit the ground running.
IT business analysis or related experience.
Experience working with UX/UI designers preferred.
