Analyst - Process Improvement III

The Analyst - Process Improvement III is responsible for leading, analyzing, and facilitating the development and improvement of business processes. This role will utilize analytical knowledge and skills to prepare a variety of studies and forecasts of business conditions and trends, draw relevant conclusions and provide recommendations to the organization. In addition, this position will lead and/or participate as part of a core team in a variety of projects, initiatives, programs.
Key Responsibilities may include the following:
-- Act as continuous improvement leader for large projects and proactively coach and mentor business teams with a lean mindset
-- Assess current state and maturity of key software processes in specified IT areas
-- Recommend and drive software process improvement projects to deliver value to the IT organization
-- Assist with internal audit readiness and preparation
-- Propose SMART Goals, facilitate and lead improvement workshops based on established KPIs and audit findings.
-- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or similar field , or additional years of experience in lieu of degree
-- 4+ years of experience in continuous improvement, audit, or lean software development
-- Experience working across the entire software lifecycle, including activities that support systems/software development such as configuration management, quality assurance, contract management, and technology improvement.
-- Experience applying various process models and standards to assess the quality and performance of systems/software management and technical processes.
-- Experience capturing as-is and to-be processes using a variety of process modeling techniques and notations.
-- Experience defining, deploying, and analyzing process metrics to measure process performance and return-on-investments for changes.
-- Experience managing systems/software development projects.
-- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and roles.
Nice to haves:
-- Lean Six Sigma or Lean Software Development certification is highly preferred (not required)
-- Experience applying Organizational Change Management (OCM) concepts, principles, and techniques to address issues associated with improvement.
